Print On Demand = POD

A few days ago I was approved by Merch by Amazon. Since then I have ideas circling my head but never actually put it on paper until today. After 5 different YouTube videos on how to upload my design, which I made earlier in the day, I am officially pending for my first acceptance. Yipee. Then of course I wanted to keep designing. So I designed a few shirts and I had nowhere to put them.

Which led me to both Teespring and RedBubble

Today I decided to open an account with Teespring and upload my designs to the site. https://teespring.com/stores/mama-meech Check it out 🙂 I am of course still in the beginning phases of my designs. Just trying to gain some experience and momentum.

http://Teespring.com is a POD site where you can sell your items on their site. What is great about it, is that there is absolutely zero overhead cost and you make a lot more per sale than you would with Merch by Amazon. The down side though is you need to promote your shirts, where Merch by Amazon has a much larger audience reducing the need for ads.

http://Redbubble.com is also a free site that sells POD and to my understanding has higher traffic and better organic sales than Teespring. I still haven’t figured out how much you make off a purchase yet; only that they do not pay you until you make $20 in sales. https://www.redbubble.com/people/mamameech/shop?asc=u for now it is the same designs just to do a little research on which site I like better.

What do you think of the designs so far? I tried to keep them VERY simple.

Love always,

Mama Meech

Hi, my name is Michelle

Nice to meet you! I am starting down a new journey to “self improvement” which not only includes emotional/physical health and fitness but also finding ways to be more financially independent. But first let me start from the beginning.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Florida and I mainly work with the mental health population. My passion has always been to work with this population and in turn I would like to say I am a Mental Health Advocate. By providing education and information to the community, I am able to provide hope and support.

My biggest blessing is my 12 year old daughter. She was in competitive dance for 4 years and has now started competitive gymnastics. She is very talented and she always seems to amaze me with the new tricks she could do. Maybe I will have her do a “how-to” on gymnastics flips and tricks.

I am currently working on a few projects and I will be sharing the process in this blog. I am working on writing my first “self-help” book and also starting my first POD t-shirt business. I guess I should also add writing my first blog to those few projects as well! I am sure these projects will grow once I get started. My goal is to make enough passive income to eventually have a very comfortable retirement. That comfortable retirement will then carry over to my daughter 🙂

I am also on an emotional well-being, spiritual, and fitness journey. I was so sick and tired of being sick and tired. One day I made the decision that on the following Monday I would begin. The difference was, this Monday I actually did it. I started BeachBody OnDemand and reading a motivational book. Each week I am evolving and growing. There are also set-backs on this journey but that’s ok, its part of the process.

Super excited to share this journey with all of you !
